Details

Málaga without group leaders – Hostel.

This program includes a wide range of activities that will make the participants dive deep into Andalusian and Spanish culture, addressing several different aspects: history, dance, gastronomy, art… This way, they are provided a complete overview of how Málaga is defined today. As a fully immersive experience, students will be required to draw on the linguistic resources within reach in order to communicate and practise everything they have previously learnt.

What do you think? Shall we begin discovering Málaga together?

Day 1

Upon your arrival, we will be waiting for you at the Málaga Airport. From there, we will go, in our private bus, to the hostel. After lunch, we will begin discovering the city with a guided tour around the main neighbourhoods and monuments.

Afterwards, we will go to the hostel, where we will have time to check in and relax a little bit.

Day 2

After waking up, getting ready and having breakfast at the hostel, we will head to the Alcazaba and the Castle of Gibralfaro. The Alcazaba is a palace fortress of Muslim origin that provides access to the Castle of Gibralfaro. This castle was built for protection purposes in the 14th century. From its ramparts we can enjoy some awe-inspiring views of the city.

Then, we will go to the beach, where we will have time to have lunch, and when we have rested for a bit, we will do an exciting scavenger hunt with our instructors. And then, free time to sunbathe, swim or have ice-cream… it’s up to you!

Day 3

Today in the morning we will go visit the Museum of Popular Arts. It’s an ethnographic centre where we will get to know a bit more about the history of Málaga, through its different exhibits detailing the traditional customs: pottery, textile works, silversmithing…

In the afternoon, we are going to learn how to cook some traditional Spanish recipes! We will begin by learning all the ingredients and the necessary instructions, while our chefs make all students participate according to each one’s skill set.

Day 4

For our last day in Málaga, we are going to visit Pablo Ruiz Picasso’s birthplace: a building that now houses the Picasso ation. We will discover a part of the artist’s life and artwork through workshops and activities. When we finish, we will go for a walk to the Square of the Constitution and the Customs Palace.

We will have lunch at Málaga Park and then, we will enjoy our last afternoon freely to go shopping, buy some souvenirs or eat an ice-cream, it’s up to you!

Day 5

This amazing trip is coming to an end… so, after breakfast, we will have time to pack our things and head to the airport.
